What does Uely-3000 use my location for?

Uely asks for location when an answer would be blurry without a place: weather, regional newspaper, distances, nearby jobs or products. Location makes answers more concrete; it is not a public marker.

  1. Set the location at signup under Auf der Karte wählen, or leave the field empty.
  2. Later in the profile: Standort festlegen. Tap the point, then Übernehmen.
  3. Where a feature needs the point, the note sits where the result would be. Standort hinterlegen opens the same map.
  4. Adjust the location any time in the profile: it is independent of the address you type.

Location is context. Uely uses it so regional questions are not treated like generic internet answers. It is a map pin, not an area place, and has nothing to do with your address, which you type separately.

Jobs and products set to Zuhause follow this pin when you move it. A map point you set on a listing stays where it is.

Browser locations can be inaccurate. On desktop you often only get a rough area.

Without a location, chat and documents work unchanged. Dorf in the newspaper and distance sorting in jobs and products show a note with the map beside it instead. None of it interrupts you on its own.

No. Publication only happens through surfaces such as listings or public profiles. The public pin on a listing is approximate, about 1 km, not the exact entrance.

No. You can work with the map or use location features without an exact position.
