What are places?
Orte are the spots in your work: a building, a plot, a meeting point, a pin on the map. Uely-3000 knows them and hangs jobs, products, documents, and photos on them. A field is one place among others, not a special case.
- Open Orte.
- Choose Persönlich or a Team context.
- Switch between Liste and Karte.
- Tap a row or a marker to see the dossier: notes, aliases, linked jobs, products, documents, photos.
- Create a place with Neuer Ort or by tapping an empty point on the map. For a parcel, field, or region, draw the outline. The drawing map starts at a place you already have. Optional: description, EGRID, crop.
- Under Notizen record what applies at this place. Edit Auch bekannt als, EGRID, and for a field or parcel Kultur in the detail pane.
- Use Verknüpfen to attach existing jobs, products, or documents, or create new ones. In the editors you can pick a place the other way.
- Discuss the place in chat with Im Chat besprechen. Geometrie bearbeiten reshapes the outline. Aktualisieren fetches a fresh Lagebild and uses usage credits.
- If Uely suggests similar places, review Zusammenführen and confirm. Nothing is merged automatically.
What you need to know
Section titled “What you need to know”A personal place belongs to your area. Team places live in the team room: every active member sees them. The profile pin Zuhause stays personal. Read Who sees what before you use shared places.
The type (point, building, parcel, field, region) is a badge, not a separate page.
If a new point sits inside an existing area place, Uely-3000 does not store a duplicate: the name becomes an alias.
Fotos appear when a capture with a location belongs to this place. They stay in Quellen; on the place you see the thumbnails.
Uely-3000 can create places and fetch maps or satellite images for them. Crop areas from the cantonal survey (LAWIS plus, GELAN and others) you upload under Training as a ZIP. Uely-3000 stores them as places. Identifier, use, area and tree count are the survey for that year; a later cut or felling belongs in notes or an observation, not in the survey. Fill EGRID only when it is empty. Crop is your name, not the cantonal use. Overlapping uses stay separate places. The public Lagebild shows cantonal crop areas only as context, not as an import of your own areas. Drawing the outline of a field or parcel up to 50 ha puts the images on the map: true color, NDVI, moisture (NDMI), narrower biomass (NDRE), and relative zones, on a few cloud-free dates. NDVI and true color are 10 m; NDMI and NDRE are native 20 m. The values are relative to this outline on that day, not a diagnosis. The aerial photo stays the basemap. The Lagebild also shows soil suitability (++ to —, map from 1980 at scale 1:200000, plus mapping unit and soil type where available), runoff slope class, the agricultural zone, land cover, radiation, and public-law restrictions. In Zurich and Thurgau it also shows cantonal crop areas (self-declared, LAWIS plus with the published as-of date), ecological networks, public water (distance or name), apiaries, natural hazards, crop-rotation areas, water-protection zones, building zones, the cantonal soil map, and contaminated-site hints. Farm numbers and names appear as the canton published them. Invasive-plant maps are incomplete. A link opens the PLR cadastre; Uely-3000 does not fetch owner names. Point, building, and region do not get the satellite image automatically. The first Lagebild does not use usage credits. Aktualisieren after that uses usage credits; there is no silent reload. If loading stalls, you can Aktualisieren. The latest Lagebild stays on the place and is there after a reload. Rename, change type, merge, and delete happen on the page or in chat. If you change the type to parcel, field, or region and there is no outline yet, Geometrie bearbeiten opens.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”If the map looks empty, check that places have coordinates. Without a point, a place appears only in the list.
In the team context with no team selected, you see no places until you pick a team.
Questions
Section titled “Questions”Is this the same as the location in the profile?
Section titled “Is this the same as the location in the profile?”No. The profile pin is your rough location for weather and nearby listings: a point, not an area. Jobs and products set to Zuhause hang on this pin. Orte are the concrete spots of your work.
Are places published?
Section titled “Are places published?”No. The place row stays private, and in a team only members see it. When you publish a job or a product, Uely-3000 copies the pin and, if there is one, the outline onto that listing. If you delete the place, the copied outline drops off the listing. The pin stays. The address others read stays the typed address from your profile.
Can I share a place with a team?
Section titled “Can I share a place with a team?”Yes. Switch to Team at the top, pick the team, then create or edit places. Personal places stay separate.
