How do I work in chat?
Chat is your personal work thread. You give a brief, Uely works on it, shows sources and asks when a decision or approval is needed.
- Open Chat.
- Write in Schreib, was ansteht….
- Use attachments for images or documents.
- Use location when the question is regional.
- Check Quellen under the answer when they are there.
- Keep writing follow-ups while Uely works: they land in the queue.
- Stop an answer with the stop button if it is going the wrong way.
What you should know
Section titled “What you should know”The personal chat is not the team chat. Even when Uely may read team context, new answers and drafts land in your area.
If you go to another page in the app while Uely is still working, the answer stays live in chat and the queue stays put. If you close the tab or reload, the answer keeps going in the background. When you come back, you see the finished text or the open approval, if one was needed. Only the stop button cancels.
On an empty chat, Uely shows a few tappable example briefs under the greeting while you are on the free trial. A tap only fills the input field: you send it yourself.
Queue: you can keep writing while Uely is still working. Follow-ups appear as chips above the input field and send automatically once the running answer finishes. The arrow on a chip sends it immediately and interrupts the running answer; the × removes it. The stop button next to the send button halts the running answer and clears the queue as well. If an answer fails, the queue pauses: the next successful answer resumes it. The queue lives in your open app window: switching pages inside the app keeps unsent chips; a reload or tab close loses them.
For multi-step briefs, Uely shows its work plan as a checklist: what it set out to do, what is running and what is already done. The list stays visible above the input field while Uely works, and updates live. In the work steps it appears only as a short line, not as a second list. Once the answer is done, the checklist is gone.
While Uely is working, a short first-person progress note appears, plus the work steps as sentences of what Uely is doing. That is not a readout of inner thinking. After a reload you keep the answer and the work-step sentences; the live progress note was only there during the reply.
Answers are forward-looking: Uely answers first, then flags at most one thing coming up that you did not ask about, and offers the obvious next step already prepared. Without your instruction, Uely rewrites nothing.
Uely follows current industry announcements (authorities and trade media) so it can place your questions in context and weave in a relevant note when it matters, in chat and in the daily briefing. It fetches details when needed; there is no separate news feed.
Uely cannot know which assumption matters to you if you do not name it. For money, law, deadlines and external portals, Uely tends to ask rather than act quietly.
Some answers arrive not as text but as a chart or table: time series, breakdowns, comparisons or a single figure with its derivation: whenever the answer is financial, statistical or a trend. Long series are condensed for this: a chart shows at most around 400 points, a table at most 100 rows; the full data set stays reachable via the link to the owning page. One answer carries at most three such panels. The numbers behind them stay named in the answer and checkable via Quellen.
When a piece of information is missing, Uely asks with a small form or clickable options instead of another sentence. One click or one filled field is enough; the answered item stays in the thread in its completed state. For more complex personal data, Uely offers to fetch it from a portal or to upload a file or photo, instead of asking you to write a long free-text reply. You can also simply write your own message: it replaces the open form. Unlike the queue, an open question survives a window reload.
Below the input field, a quiet line shows when you last trained Uely-3000. If that was a while ago, the line warns that answers may be imprecise and links straight to Training.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”Correct in the same thread. “Do not use the draft; use the paid invoice” gives Uely more context than a restart.
Questions
Section titled “Questions”Why do I sometimes see approvals?
Section titled “Why do I sometimes see approvals?”When Uely wants to prepare or run something that has consequences, it asks for your consent. That is not friction for its own sake; it is the brake in the right place.
Why is chat a different URL on the phone?
Section titled “Why is chat a different URL on the phone?”On desktop chat is at /, on mobile at /chat. Content-wise it is the same personal work thread.
