What Uely-3000 does in the practice.

01 / Look up

Preparations and withdrawal periods.

Uely searches veterinary medicines by preparation name in the Swiss compendium and shows the withdrawal period with its source. Where a figure is missing, it says so rather than inventing one.

Which animals are blocked, and when can the milk go back in the tank?
Uely-3000@flo Example
Approach
Release = treatment date + withdrawal period, per matrix (milk, meat)
Off-label use takes the statutory minimum, even where the product's own is shorter
The block ends the day after the period expires
Herd and treatments come from the journal; nothing is entered again
Inputs
  • 4 cows, treated 26 Aug : treatment journal
  • Milk withdrawal 7 days : veterinary medicines compendium
  • 1 cow, off-label 31 Aug : treatment journal
  • Statutory minimum for milk 3 days : veterinary medicines ordinance
Result

5 animals blocked, the last until 3 Sep.

The four run on the product's own withdrawal period and are free from 3 Sep. The fifth was off-label, so the statutory minimum applies even though the product's own is shorter: free from 4 Sep.

Uely does not act on its own: you release the milk.

02 / Journal

The treatment journal keeps itself.

Treatments and herd records run into the journal, under the animal welfare and veterinary medicines ordinances, as a document to print or file. Uely never invents the legal entry; if something is missing, the gap stays visible.

Does my treatment journal match the herd, before the inspection?
Uely-3000@flo Example
Approach
Every treatment needs an animal that was in the herd on the treatment day
Arrivals and departures from the animal notifications, treatments from the journal
Open = a treatment with no matching animal, or a dispensing with no entry
Open points are shown, not filled in
Inputs
  • 142 treatments, 1 Jan to 31 Aug : treatment journal
  • 68 animals in the herd, 12 arrivals, 9 departures : animal notifications
  • Matched on ear tag and date : own herd
Result

3 open entries, all in June

Two are animals that left before the treatment date recorded for them, most likely a wrong date. The third is missing its preparation. The other 139 reconcile.

You complete the legal entry, not Uely.
